I desired to be an author for years, and on February 14, 2016, I launched out to fulfill my dream of becoming a published author. A little about me. I am a native of the great state of Georgia, an original Georgia Peach! Immediately after high school, I joined the United States Army and served my country for several years. I attended Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia where I obtained my Bachelor’s in Social Science with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. I have over 20 years of experience in Human Services; however, my last venture into education launched my passion for business. I earned a MBA in Organizational Psychology and Development, which is the foundation for my love of entrepreneurship and community development. I am a Certified Speaker, Trainer, and Life Coach with the John Maxwell Team.
I volunteer my services in various community outreach programs to assist others in reaching their personal and professional goals. I am a spirted woman of faith that believes anything is possible, if you just believe and take action.
“The Beauty of Me” is a trailblazing vision given to me by God that will take self-love, self-acceptance, self-improvement, and self-worth to the next level through books, fashion, and education. I developed “The Beauty of Me” to assist me in my own personal struggles with loving myself, which propelled me to heal from my past traumas to create a better me. My goal is to inspire and motivate others to love themselves authentically, to go within and discover their purpose, and to fulfill their dreams and desires.
I believe Authenticity is the highest level of Self-Love that leads to a life of freedom from societal ideologies. My slogan is “Be Authentic”, and my motto is “You find your deepest freedom from being your most authentic self!”
